Repairy for game console repair shops

Record the console, its revision, and the account sign-out before you open it.

Consoles come in with controllers, cables, and signed-in accounts. Repairy records the revision, the accessories, and the sign-out acknowledgement at intake, then runs the estimate and payment from the same ticket.

Common jobs

How a repair runs

  • HDMI port replacement

Intake records the symptom and the accessories left with the console. The technician confirms the port on the bench, and the estimate is sent by text with the port as a part line and the rework as labor. Approval reserves the port from stock and moves the ticket to the bench.

  • Fan cleaning and thermal service

The estimate is a labor line with any thermal materials as parts. The status text tells the customer when the console is on the bench and when it is ready. The invoice at pickup shows the balance and the receipt is issued from the ticket.

  • Disc drive repair

The ticket opens in a diagnostic state. If the drive needs a laser or a mechanism, the estimate carries the part and the labor, and the customer approves by text. If a replacement drive needs pairing to the board, the estimate says so and the revision stays on the ticket.

  • Controller drift

Controllers are recorded as their own device on the customer, so a controller repair has its own ticket and history. The estimate lists the stick module as a part line, and the pickup notice goes out when the repair reaches the ready state.
