Text updates about your repair
Last updated September 5, 2026
A shop that uses Repairy can text you as your repair moves along: when the estimate is ready, when a part arrives, and when the device is ready to collect. The texts are optional. You choose whether to receive them, and the repair goes ahead either way.
How you opt in
At the counter. The shop’s drop-off form asks for your name, mobile number, the device, and the fault. Below those fields is a separate box for text updates. It is unticked until you tick it, and the form is complete with or without it. See the printed form.
Online. The form below is the same drop-off form. Fill it in, and tick the box only if you want texts.

What you receive
Repair status updates such as “your device is ready to collect”, pickup and appointment reminders, and replies to questions you send about your repair. Message frequency varies with the repair, typically a few messages per repair. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. After STOP the shop sends nothing further except one message confirming the opt-out. Your mobile number and consent are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and are never shared with third parties for their own marketing.
